This week Fr John will be entering a brief but intense period of spiritual refreshment before Lent begins. While he is away, we are lucky to have Canon George Bradburn with us. Fr Bradburn has recently retired as Parish Priest of St Gildas’ in Rosneath. He was Spiritual Director of the Scots College in Rome while Fr John was a student and, on completing his term there, the Bishops of Scotland asked him to take on the same role in the national seminary in Bearsden, Scotus College. Such appointments are a testament to his prayerfulness, approachability and good nature. Please make him welcome – and look after him too!
