Like marriage, Holy Orders is a sacrament of commitment and service: it draws its strength and its purpose from the love which God pours into our hearts. We are all called to share this love in lives of humble and joyful service. For some this means responding to the Lord's call, to serve him in the ordained ministry. The journey to service in the Church is a process of prayer, discernment and reflection.
